Winnie the Pooh

The world would be such a different place without certain things; money, love, hate, food, animals. No one really considers how much one little thing can change something as big as our world. People take things for granted, love things they shouldn't, hate things that should be loved. If the waterfall had no rocks, it would not be beautiful, if a flower was colourless, it would not be delicate, if a circle had no centre, it would be non existant. So people think. This blog won't make sense, not put together but it will if it's split up.
One way of life that stands out, Taoism. Now I don't know much about it but I know that if everyone lived like it, then people would be in harmony with nature, with the fragile, amazing, beautiful world that we take for granted every second. Now I'm no Eco-freak, nor am I religious, I am just a normal school girl. I read a book once, The Tao of Pooh (Benjamin Hoff), it turned my life around, made me think about things that I never even knew existed, I changed, the book changed the way I thought, my mind.
The book was written in such a fascinating way, through Winnie the Pooh, it explains about how Pooh lives in harmony. Now Winnie the Pooh, probably played a huge part in the childhoods of children in this day and age but everyone just thinks he is a big cuddly bear with a large desire to eat honey all day, but no, after reading this book, it makes you realise how relaxed and connected to the world around him is, his "ingenious" way of doing everything.
Well that's my first blog. Really.
